Projects » Surge Web Services
A fleet of local search properties that generate and sell phone calls to service businesses. Runs itself.
Surge sells leads to local service businesses. That is the entire product.
We don’t sell websites, marketing retainers, dashboards, or SEO packages. We build the infrastructure ourselves, then sell the phone calls that turn into paying jobs, at a flat monthly or per-lead rate, and nothing else. The business owner pays for calls and never has to be sold on the idea of search engine optimization in the first place.
How it works
The system autonomously finds gaps in the local search market, then builds sites, ranks them, and routes and sells the resulting calls. Every property moves through the same five stages: research, build, deploy, sell leads, upkeep.
Three surfaces drive the calls:
- Search visibility. When someone searches Google, our property is the first site they see. They call our number, and the call is forwarded to a business that pays for it.
- Answer engine visibility. More people now ask ChatGPT and similar systems instead of Google. Our properties are the most-cited results on those engines.
- Directory properties. We run our own directory sites, which rank on their own merits and support the rest of the fleet. No fake reviews, no invented rankings.
The part I actually care about
The product I care about most is not the lead business. It is the playbook underneath it — a repeatable method for creating businesses that run themselves. Surge is the first of several fully autonomous schemes I want to test that method on.
This site you are reading is built in the same visual style as Surge, on purpose. Both are meant to load instantly and get out of the way.
- 30 properties live across 5 metropolitan markets

- 6,391 automated tasks in a 14-day window at a 99.8% completion rate
- Research, build, deploy, sell leads, and upkeep all run without manual intervention
